Talitha Diggs
Talitha Diggs is gearing up for June trials to hopefully compete in Paris and build on her Gator track career.
Talitha Diggs, 21, has all the talent to add to her growing list of accomplishments that started here at the University of Florida as a 400-meter specialist. In 2021, she was SEC indoor champion. In 2022, she had a breakout year that saw her become NCAA indoor and outdoor champion, helping the Gators secure team titles in both. She then earned her first U.S. title as a USATF outdoor champion before shining in international competition and capping her amazing year with a world championship gold medal in the 4×400 relay. In 2023, the Gator junior once again made her mark in the 400m, being crowned SEC indoor champion in the event.

“To know that UF Health is a National Medical Center for Team USA is awesome. I mean it’s my school so there’s a lot of Gator pride happening but also to know that the other athletes and everyone who’s involved with UF Health is going to be taken care of. I’ve experienced it first-hand.”
If all those accomplishments and her several UF school records don’t show what “Talethal” is capable of, just look at her family history. Her aunt, Jearl Miles Clark, is a 2-time Olympic champion, while another aunt, Hazel Clark, and Talitha’s mother, Joetta Clark Diggs, are multi-time Olympians.
Health concern
Talitha has received care at UF Health for things related to women’s health and general checkups, which included monitoring an iron deficiency that she struggled with in high school. She still gets her general checkups at UF Health today.
